FRESNO YOUTH CONFERENCE 8/13-14/05:
On August 13th to 14th the youth in Fresno UCLE held a conference for the youth. Many youth came from
around the country to join the youth revival conference. North Carolina youth, Denver Youth, Willow youth,
Sacramento youth, Merced youth and Fresno youth all came together to fellowship and worship. On the first
day there were ice breakers, worshiping and gospel taught by Rev. Cher Vang Kong the founder of UCLE
along with Alter Calling. The musicians who played for the worship session were from MPD (a department of
UCLE) group called AGB (Amplifying Gods Beauty) the bass were played by Kelly Lee, the guitar were played
by Pacha Fouvmvang, the drum played by Pang Vang and the Piano played by Lisa Lee, along with the help of
some of MPD members like David (guitarist), Suafeng Chervunkong (drummer) and Mai Ying Xiong (Piano).
After worshiping, Rev. Cher Vang Kong came to preach the gospel
"The living Water" in John 7: 37-38 The
"Tabernacle Festival". After the gospel Rev. Cher Vang Kong lead the youth into Alter calling. It was the
moment that the youth were waiting for! The youth came to the front, kneel down and prayed and spoke in
tongue. How great it was to see the youth be so touched by God!

On the second day the youth conference started at noon with fellowship and lunch.
 The lunch were prepared
by the Fresno mothers and fathers of UCLE. The first session had worship. The music were played by MPD's
musicians who were Kong Meng Xiong (bass), David Lee (guitar), Ncheej Nchij Heu (drums) and Mai Ying Xiong
(Piano). After the worship they invited a special guess to preach. This was not his first appearance in Fresno
UCLE. He was not an unknown person, for many times he came was to praise and sing for the Lord. This time
he came with a different mission, which was to preach the word of God. His name is Chingsou Kieth
Chervunkong.  The topic of his sermon was
" The kingdom of God" in Luke 17:20-25. After the sermon, they
ended the service and had a break and prepared for the second session.

The second session started off with worship and with a play done by UCLE youth of Sacramento. Their play
were Heavens Gate and Hells Flame. The meaning of that play were to believe in Him or you will be punished
the ultimate punishment, Hell. It touched many of the youth and made a lot of the youth realized how
important it was to believe in Jesus Christ. After the play there were a few service songs and then the Fresno
youth secretary, Sandy Yang did offerings and also invited another guess speaker, Suafeng Chervunkong to
give the word of God. The topic of
"How Jesus called his twelve disciple and now He is also calling you too"
in Matthew 10:1-4.

After the conference many of the youth stayed after the conference to take pictures and fellowship some
more. This event was a successful event and very reviving to the youth. We would like to give special thanks
to the Lord above for giving us a chance to see another day and to see all our youth from around the country
once again, also we would like to thank Lisa Lee who planned and hosted the whole event. Great job on your
hard work in making this event happen! Also, we want to thank Fresno UCLE for letting the youth have a
revival in their church and all the elders who gave their time to help make food for the youth. And last but not
least we would like to thank all the youth that came out to seek for God. We hope that you find your answer
and prayer. Amen.

time, these young men are in the dangerous area. They have no foods supply and any money in hand. In the

In UCLE history we use to do promotion to our outstanding members. Sometime we promote them at the
biannual conference during the summer time. Main office or Promotion Department may conduct the promotion
ceremony to the qualified person according to what they see that the way of promotion will fit.

Last year 2004, there were four people qualified for promotion. Those people are:
1. Mrs. Youa Yang
2. Mr. Lue Sae Vang
3. Mr. Thopo Yang
4. Mrs. Chia V. Yang
Miss Youa Yang was one of our pastor who lead the Churches and Christians brothers sister in her country for
almost twenty years. Her life was in danger and faced many Christians martyrs and torture right in front of her
for almost 20 years.

Mister Lue Sae Vang is the first Hmong pastor who worked hard to help built Churches. He has been criticized
and looked down on for being a Christian yet he was still strong and willing to work hard for the church and
the Christian brothers and sisters.

Mr. Thopo Yang and Mrs. Chia V. Yang are very dedicated people. They both have the same mentality by loving
and caring for God's house (Church). Also, they have a heart full of love and compassion over those who are
weak and unable to support or help themselves because of long age. So very often they both provide what
they can to these people. Every sabbath day the platform where the Words of God were preach was well
prepared and decorated with the new flowers by them. They spend their own budget for it without any
authorization or Church budget.

We thank God for such great people. Next promotion could be you!
